BBI Marauder vs. Red Devils

Post by grunt1 » Thu Sep 13, 2007 10:08 am

Cooper pointed out a possible goof in the database. The pictures under the F-18 Marauder and the Red Devil, though different photos are of the same plane.

I'm guessing that they are all red devils and that the database is just missing a picture of the marauder? Is that correct and does anyone have one?

I noticed this as well, and was going to let you know, but got side tracked.
I do have a Marauder F-18 and would be glad to take some pics of it for you.

Simply snap a shot of the subject, host it on a picture hosting site (Image Shack or Village Photos are ones I use) then you'll copy and past the URL(that corresponds to the pic you uploaded to the hosting site) from your browser between these two image tags and hit submit, voila!! Picture :-)

grunt1 I haven't forgot about posting the pics. I have to set up an account on photobucket, or image shack (webshots won't let me link the image just the url) then I will post the pics here for you.

Sorry for taking so long.

My local Hobbytown USA store still has a couple "Red Devils" F-18s in stock for the normal $90 retail price. (And yes, I am positive its the "Red Devils" plane!) I'm not sure how they got them, given that the paintscheme was aparently and "exclusive," but it wouldn't be the first time as a few years ago, the same store also got in some of the "exclusive" 21c Boyington Corsairs

Glad I could be of some help grunt1, sorry I took so long. I don't like that you can see the fishing line I use to hang the plane up in some of the photos. I guess I should have removed it before I took the pics.
