Anyone have photos of the new(er) North Africa (Lybia?) Bf-109. The one with the cartoon lion?

Here's a picture of the "North Africa" or "Schultz" Bf-109F:

This is one of my personal favorites from the 32x '109 series

Things are looking up at DC/Baltimore metro area TRU and Target stores for 21st, BBI and FOV. I visited one of each today and came away with a pretty good haul including the following items: Sets A and B of both the new 32X DAK and Italian figures @ $4.99 ea. (I honestly can't get too excited about the Italians but I picked em up anyways.) Two new items from the FOV 1:72 "battle extreme" series: A US halftrack with 105mm howitzer and troops, and the new M26 Dragon wagon, I picked up one of the halftrack sets and two of the Dragon Wagons @ 15.99 ea. the DW wasn't something I desperately wanted or needed but it is a unique and interesting piece that is pretty much unseen outside of kits, and since my collecting has shifted primarily to smaller scales I figured it was a good addition to my collection. I also picked up a 1:48 scale Wirbelwind from 21st, I don't collect this scale but it had a very attractive dark green camo pattern, and it only set me back $6.99 so I went for it. Both stores also had nice selections of 1:18 items from BBI and 21st but I didn't buy any. I think this is good news considering 21st has all but disappeared from local WM stores except for a few dusty remnants and clearance items and nothing new is being stocked. A quick note on the new 32X figures....these are a vast improvement IMO over previous releases, some of which looked like Zombies from a grade B horror movie.

No "Shangri La" P-51s in the Fresno area TRUs yet, but then they seem to get new stuff a week after the other TRUs in California, if at all.

I did, however, find the "new" 1:144 packs with the "Old Crow" P-51 and "Red 19" FW-190 at Wal Mart, so things weren't entirely a bust

I just got home from a short road trip, and don't have pictures yet, but on Tuesday I stopped at TRU and found the Long Tom 105mm artillery piece in a single window box with a camo pattern paint job. I have not even looked at it closely yet (still in my car) but it is nice and certainly different from the piece we have seen previously in the boxed combination set.
Thought you would all like to know it's out there! :D

Ooooh, I like the sound of that, thanks for the heads up. Could you possibly give us a peek at this jewel?? Thanks.

Upon closer inspection, its the same piece as before but with different paint.

Man, what's the deal. Here in my local WM in 1:32 scale they are repeating the same fiasco that they did in 1:18 scale with the FW 190. There are at least 8 Blue 12's on the shelf and no other planes. NO other FW 190's hav been spotted. What an assortment. I guess they will sit for a while.

Funny, but I never saw any of the 1:32 "Blue 12" FW-190s in my area. There's currently alot of P-51s to be had over the stores in my area, if there's any 21c products in the first place.

I found the corsair-zero dogfight set today-a new zero scheme is neat, but who needs another big hog?

It's great when you can find stuff , "in your own backyard".

At Wally, I haven't seen an aircraft (besides the sudden explosion of different 109 schemes) or vehicle since before the resets. Play sets vary from store to store so you’d need visit a tore or two to get them all. At TRU there are quite a few of the single boxed Long Tom’s and Firefly’s, along with the German and Italian figure sets. Besides Bullfrogs and the solitary Shangri-La I snagged, I have yet to see any other aircraft at TRU.

Okay, thanks.. I just hadn't heard anything else except a few spotty reports in the beginning, and I collect 1/144, so I was interested..
Need to see these in my AO soon...
