Such a neat kit; very tempting.
It's amazing how much excitement this gun causes, despite the fact it never fired a shell in anger. And its sister gun Gustav, only fired 48 shells (at Sevastapol).
Even more amazing larger guns and vehicles were under development but were either cancelled or destroyed in air raids before being completed.

Here's an interesting youtube video which contains images of what i believe is either Gustav or Dora firing. If so that is very rare footage.
Also, towards the end there is a huge, heavily camoflauged railway gun firing. I am wondering if that is footage of Gustav firing at Sevastapol?

DORA
There is a DORA shell in the Imperial War Museum in London, England.
the 1/35 DORA kit is big!
the 1/144 kits is over a foot long!
