Guess what I found @ TRU:
It comes with a newer D-Day type figure (thompson, axe, .45 pistol)
But the price for this is: 29.99
I don't know about you guys, but that is too much for a smaller version of the M16 Quad .50
What do you guys think?

Looks cool.
I doubt I'll be getting one at that price.

I'm excited that you got a first sighting!
That's about where the excitement ends though..
I'm glad they made this because it needed to be done at some point.. but uh.. there's a list a mile long of more popular subjects that could/should have been addressed.

When I picked it up and looked at it, the first thought was, what am I going to use to tow it? Jeep? Halftrack?
It had some kind of hitch on it, but hard to tell if it is more there for show or actual use.
Boys and Girls, keep an eye out for TRU 15% or 20% off coupons or clearance...

Great find

I've got to hand it to 21c for getting the two newest pieces of 1:18 "armor" to TRU, which with their better distribution than Wal Mart, means more of us will have a chance of seeing these in our AO.
However, $29.99 for a trailer?? I'll say that the Pak-40 Hanomag was worth that price because it was a full vehicle with a detailed cannon and tons of interior detail and accessories. The Quad-.50 trailer? Not so much
I'll be interested to see if my area gets these in. I'm sure they will, but its not really something I'm going to go driving miles to hunt down.

I can see your point about the price and all.... it's pretty unique though.... I'd have to say it's a must have for the serious XD WWII armor/vehicle collector, even at $30, maybe it's a sign of higher prices in the future, who knows, but I certainly would not be surprised if it is.

I do hope they come out with something for us 32X and/or 1:72 folks.

Ill definetly have to wait for the price to come down or some coupon to be handed to me

I would buy two for myself. Two reasons to me one would look great for a ww2 airfield defense and the other would be used for a nam scene

Wonder if it can be taken off the trailer

Well , we'll see which store puts them on clearance first ,.. WAL* MART or TRU .
........ but still nobody knows for sure if the darn thing is even towable yet ,.. until somebody actually buys one and sets it up.

Kinda surprised that this quad trailer was priced at $30. Almost makes the recent pak-40 HT a bargain. I too will wait for a TRU coupon or clearance before getting one.

Cool find, but unfortunately, we once again get more news about a new release from one of our own members spotting it than from 21st themselves. 29.99 is steep, but the completist in me will force me to pay the price when i see it

If you're waiting on clearance prices on this, you may wait a long time... Toys R Us is not known for clearances that are quick on their product. Even WM is wavy on that, it's really Target that's known for quickly discounting and moving old stuff for new.
While the price is definitely a tough pill to choke down for this one, I agree, I am not banking on a sale on it any time soon. Hoping WM gets them in is a more likely option, however WM's are so slow to distribute anything that they're not much hope either.
Throw another figure in and I think I'd have less of a complaint on this one myself, but something that's 50% reused mold toolings (I would assume, what with their efforts to make things somewhat modular), and that's a little disappointing price there.

TRU does issue discount coupons. They have issued two in the past several weeks. I used them to purchase the pak-40 HT's. I suspect I'll have to wait and do the same for the quad trailer to avoid the $30 price tag.

Apache and Blackhawks are $29.99 at three targets I've been to. Pretty awesome seeing them there. Too bad I already have them and paid a lot more at TRU :-/ Crossing fingers for the new Camo BBi F/A-18C Hornet to appear there...

Yes, I picked up my Blackhawk at Target. Great model at a great price!
