Any good tank rumors???

Post by binder001 » Fri Aug 24, 2007 7:16 am

OK, I finally found the 21C "Heavy Artillery Emplacement" set, so I have my 155mm, my 8" howitzer and my tank dozer. Now its time for wishing and hoping again. Any good rumors of any new 1/32nd scale stuff? Especially US stuff?

I keep hoping for a common 2 1/2 ton GMC CCKW 6X6 truck. Lots of options for paint jobs in many nationalities. I am hoping that 21C will consider an M4 tractor to pull the new heavy artillery. Unortunately they base their models on commercial kits and there isn't a plastic kit of the M4 High Speed Tractor. There IS an old Revell/Life-Like M4 tractor in 1/40th scale that dates from the 1950s, but was one of their better offerings. If 21C scaled that one up it would be as good as most 21C tanks in detail and accuracy. The Allies need more trucks and support vehicles. Even if 21C would scale down their Dodge command car, WC51 truck and WC63 6X6 they would be good additions to our Allied forces.

I definently agree with you there. We sure need a deuce and a half.

I think 21C needs to make a T-34C tank. Think of all of the paint schemes they could do, and use the chassis for an SU-85 and SU-122.

The average joe would purchase these and many of us would buy them cases at a time.

21C, please hear me!
