I'm assuming you mean the Blackhawk. Depends what you are going to use it for. If you want a scale model - no way. Its way smaller than it should be. But, if you don't mind the size disparity, I think it is worth it. It's alot like the older GI Joe stuff in the 1980's - decent reprentation of military hardware, just "selectively compressed". The pilots are easy to get in, and you can get four seated figures in the cargo area (barely). The best thing about is its durable as heck. I've given mine to my 2-1/2 year old daughter, and she beats that thing up playing with it, and nothing has broken on it yet. I actually have two of them - one for her and one that will be hung up in my boy's room when he is born later this month. Doesn't hurt to start them young.

Also, it comes with Power Teams usual accesories. Those don't hurt either.

MM said it, if your not a stickler for exact scaling then these are great to build a whole helo armada, or great for custom work, i turned 2 into seahawks, but if you want high quality/accuracy bbi BH is the way to go.

No, I don't think he's talking about the blackhawk toy. He's talking about the powerteam little bird. I too was very interested in it. It's an actual little bird as opposed to the md500 defender that bbi packages as a "little bird". It even has the miniguns. Nor does it force on you that sensor package and pack tow launchers.

I've never seen one in person, which is why I've never bought it. I keep putting off buying it online. I share the first poster's interest...anyone out there actually buy it?

loking over the pictures again, it looks like the tail is short (like the blackhawk). obviously the skids are "funny". But I still like those rockets/miniguns...

I really wish bbi relased an actual little bird. and I wish they improved the rigidity of its skids...

You gotta start them out young. First time I heard my daughter's heartbeat, she sounded like a chopper, so for I while I called her Apache. Pre-birth brain-washing is great - we live in the Davis-Mothan flight path, and she loves watching the F16s, C130s, and A-10s fly over.

Back to the Powerteam Blackhawks, I think they are $10 at KB and Etoys right now. If you are a firsttime buyer, use the coupon DISCOKIDS for $5 off $40. And, I just picked up a four-man crew XD huey slick for $40 from there.
