Figures KIA

Post by Mad Ewok » Sat Feb 26, 2005 4:02 pm

Anyone ever had problems with their pets eating their figures? Last night my dog chewed off my closed coat BoB german, and chewed up the panzerschrek sight.

Anyone else have these problems before???

Heat them up.,bend them, burn them, and make some dead soldiers. That's what I do with my broken figures.

Didn't your mom teach you to pick up your toys after you finished playing with them?

Thats funny... well maybe not, but I find it interesting that your dog decided to go for the Battle of the Bulge assortment! It was about 2 weeks ago my dog just went to town on my US infantryman from the BoB assortment. I don't know why dogs seem to like this set more than the others! Stupid Dogs! but what do you do? You have to love having them around!

I have very moody dogs with a taste for plastic. They have actually taken off my display tables a Stormtrooper, Imperial Guard, Death Star Trooper, several of my daughter's GI Joes, one train car.......it goes on and on. Usually, it happens once ever month or so. One time, my other figures had a service for one of their deceased comrades. My wife thought I had lost it at that point.

My 14 year old dog just looks at the XD stuff, perhaps sniffs it, and then goes about other business. The cats seem to leave it alone as well. Then again, much of it is up in shelves, cupboards, or on the ceiling!
