i like this change in direction for PTE. The tank should certainly do as a psuedo Iraqi T-72, probably a bit small for a T-80. Be nice to have something for my marine cobra to blow up. I wonder how long it will take these to show up in north america. They're already out in new zealand i would assume australia as well; so board members from those locals may be able to give us a sneak peak review of what they are like.

i've been looking at pics of the new pte helicopter and it's not as underscale as i first thought. The real Dauphin has a fuselage length of about 36 feet, so that translates to a model of 24 inches. From looking at the pics i'd say the pte version is about 21-22 inches; so it's not too bad scale wise. Probably 1/19 or 1/20. Given that there's zero chance of ever seeing it again in this scale i think it's worth getting. I'll probably repaint it as a coast guard helicopter.

Thanks!

My thoughts exactly..... If anyone in NZ or Australia has located the Rocket Helo, please let us know. If you would be willing to grab a couple and send them over, I would gladly make it worth your troubles!

I see an MH-65C conversion in my future. :wink:

I picked up an SU-27 today to hang in my son's room, having a paint job helps these planes a lot :D
If any further pics or info is needed on this plane let me know.
USCGSARdog I know the choppers are here so I'll widen my search area soon.

Dauphins are 36 feet long so that makes it about 1/22 scale then....about the same scale as the PTE blackhawk.

Greetings:

The Dauphin looks good as does the Flanker. The Flanker seems to me like it may be a little too short compared to the actual aircraft, but that's just from looking at the pictures. Too bad the figures are not a little bit better or improved.

Hope they come to the US, both look pretty good for what they are.

Corey

Nev;

That tank looks pretty good actually. Now to compare with my trumpeter Type 96 MBT.

Still looking forward to the IFV!
