On the heels of the 1/35 German Seehund U-Boat model I built a few weeks ago comes the Italeri 1/35 scale U-Boat Biber kit. My model depicts a Biber from an unknown unit that was active in the North Sea in late 1944 (see the historical photo). The Italeri kit turned out to be a more difficult kit to build that I anticipated and I encountered small issues throughout the build that prolonged construction. The photo-etched parts were a pain to work with, for example. However, in the end, I think the model came out pretty decent. The figures even presented a good opportunity to practice my figure-painting skills. More details about the build itself can be found in the "Customs & Mods" forum here: http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/view ... =9&t=35616
Enjoy

Thanks cnq and Panzer Arm for the kind comments
Apart from the submarine, my figure painting still needs a little work, but its getting there!
