Re: hay all. can I see pics of all of your collections
Normandy I love your collection! I love all the stuff in the back ground! Where did you get that stuff? like the Panzerfaust and other stuff, looks great!
It also saddens me to hear about the woofer, he is a great guy and it was him that inspired me way back in the day to make and eventually start to sell my own 1/18 customs. It seems so long ago now. I remember years and years ago Mathew (who was a stranger at the time) messaged me on eBay and said "hey these guys on the site have allot of questions about some of your stuff you are making" and so I looked this site up and could not believe all the attention there was on here about my stuff. I felt like a celebrity! haha! Even though most of what they had to say was pretty bad and rightly so, when I started collecting 1/18 I hadn't built or painted models since around 13yrs old when I started chasing "other pursuits" over modeling. It took many years and hundreds of projects to get where I am today. I thank people like Everett and Mathew for inspiring me and making me to want to be better.

Tambo works in a "highly deployable" organization, so it has been my observation that he tends to drop off the forums for large spells quite often.normandy wrote:TheHun.....no. Tambo...?

Tambo is still around... I think. Been working and my family has been horseback riding a lot, I even have my own ride.
I have some spare birds that I have acquired in my travels that I would like to sell or trade.

Ouch!
Cats and models don't mix well.
When I younger, I had an 8' train board decked out as a 1/72 scale Marine Corsair base, complete with several planes, palm trees, tents, figures, jeeps, a fuel truck----the works. Our new kitten devestated it. This cat was stupid. It would hide and then ambush you when you walked in a room and then turn to retreat and run into a wall or closed door. It liked to jump up on the toilet seat lid when I was at the sink shaving and from there launch it's play attack on the moving electric shaver cord. One time the toilet lid and seat were up and splash!
The cat's name was Zero. Not after the plane but because it was so stupid. We passed it on to another owner shortly after the airfield was destroyed.
Hope the B.H. Avenger can salvaged.

Re: hay all. can I see pics of all of your collections
I thought that I would highlight some of the rare ones that I have been fortunate to gather into the group.
Airstrike Corsair painted by a modeler in Texas - he did some others, too, but I never bought one before he quit doing it.....
Joseph Priller FQW-190
RAAF Mustang - Worth more in the box but too beautiful to not show her off...
ALL GO TOYS Passion Wagon Prototype
Tender Terror
A custom painted BF 109 that I did
1/18 Hairless Joe P-47 that I painted
My first repaint - a US painted Spitfire. I had not researched the colors enough and it should be a darker gray.

My plan was to add some 47's to my collection but Mikeg never sent his address. Of course posting the pics here after the fact might have incriminated me......

What are those things there, the VTOL halo-looking things?
Re: hay all. can I see pics of all of your collections
Yeah basements are awesome!!!
The VTOL looking items are GI JOE Dragonhawk's. I have a very mixed collection. Most of the GI JOE items are still on the shelves.

Very impressive! Did you build all those buildings yourself? They look great!
