Time for the fallow up poll .
I am thinking the year 2016 as being the 100th year in 1/18th scale.
I am thinking of trying to get into the $200-$250 range for an unfinished kit and double that for a finished kit .
What say you all ?

Re: What is Your Favorite Allied WW 1 Plane ? Poll 2
I believe the SE-5 was the best of the allied single seaters. Along with the SPAD it was about the fastest and somewhat ahead of its time.
Problem is they were plain Janes with the majority just basic color schemes of dark upper, light lower. I don't know if many had flashy personal markings or colors. At least the Camel had that big round usually silver cowl. I always thought the Neuiport 28 looked sleek and faster than it was.

What makes the P-51 Mustang so special?

The Camel would be easier to make than the SPAD

I agree with Axis-Nightmare about the SE-5. Always a fav of mine, especially with the wing top Lewis machine gun mount. The Spad is my favorite on the poll list. Always liked the compact, powerful look of the plane...
