Getting real close guys.
New rear handles
New lift hooks.
Travel lock 90 % . It will swing down and I will make it so the clamp opens and closes . A lot of pics show this part missing but it is so big it needs to be made. The modeler can use it or not.

I"m curious how it will look next to a Tiger 1 or a Sherman.
I will try and take some pics of the side by side .

Hey Pickelhaube, the details are looking great. The handles on the rear doors look more to scale now.
You've put some work into the travel lock
![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
dang that looks good. Are you going to build a Jagdtiger
for yourself?

Thanks Normandy. Yep a lot of work did go into it.
Yes I do believe I will make a Jagd for myself.
It is becoming my favorite piece of armor.
Well at least a second close to the Sdkfz 222

Pat L. of Oregon--1

Minuet progress on the Jagd.
I have the travel lock done , have made the rear doors thicker and have made the mantlet hook.
I have also
made the Jagd pioneer tool layout
finished the copula
relocated the long bar ( cleaning rod ? ) in the back of the fighting box.
All the fabrication is done . I just need to do the final mock up before the tear down in order to make the molds.
Hopefully I can finish tomorrow on Mardis Gras Day.

Dang, that's impressive work, Pickel! We need to find a way that you can better mass-produce these items or at least not have the pouring process be so labor-intensive...

When the cost of 3-D printing comes down and the quality of 3-D printing goes up, then this creative process won't be so "labor intensive".........ah, but then who'll remember how to make molds and pour resin?

Great news Matthew!
This will be one of the coolest 1:18 tanks and I dare say one of the rarest (in number produced) ever offered.
still thinking of building it without fenders.

The pouring of parts will commence TODAY !!!!
This is for you guys only who have actually purchased the kit.
PLEASE EVERYBODY WHO PURCHASED A KIT SPEAK UP !!!!
I will offer the modification of cutting the hull add the filler piece mount the fighting box and cut/ add the extensions for the lower hull at a price of
$35
Now it has been a long time since this project has started .
Should I do this for free ? Or would you guys just be happy with me placing the cut lines.
I will say that the modification will take about 3-4 hours to alter the K-2 hull into a Jagdtiger hull.
Please every one speak up.
MY FEELINGS WILL NOT BE HURT, I WILL GO WITH THE GENERAL CONSENSUS.

For me the line marks on the hulls with be good.
This is one of your best builds.
I wonder what will be your next build after this?

Matthew, I originally voted for doing the cutting myself. However I find my sitiation has changed. I would rather pay the $35. and have you lengthen the hull. Say the word and will have the money headed your way.
Thanks.

Matthew, I'll take the kit as is. I'm planning on building it without fenders so I'll already be doing
custom work just to remove them.
