I was fortunate to be there a few years back when they working
on restoring this mean machine. I took lots a pics, but
the Tiger was in a differn't building being restored, so I missed
it, but boy there was alot of other tanks there.

Yep! When I went back in 1998 (I think), the Tiger was deep in restoration and was missing the Turret. The Bovington Tank Museum was excellent. I REALLY wish the Aberdeen Proving Ground Museum took as good of care of their tanks as they do at Bovington! It all comes down to $$$$ unfortunately.tmanthegreat wrote:That would be fun - I want the commander's seat!
