COMING SOON : NEW, 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS
Finally the God's of plastic have answered my prayers.
PEGASUS HOBBES, is releasing a brand new set of 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS in 10 action poses!
This will mark the third time that the "GREEN DEVILS" have been immortalized in 1:32 and these look like the best sculpts yet.
Here is a link to the photos. Enjoy.

Nice. I wonder what ever happened to Pegasus' release of WWII French? They boasted about this release years ago...

Re: COMING SOON : NEW, 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS
They only did the French in 1:72.
The poor sales of their 1:32 SOVIET NAVAL TROOPS (which I loved) probably made them cancel other 1:32 projects at the time.
BUT, I'll bet the potential sales of the GERM. PARATROOPS will be vary BIG and will encourage more future releases.
Hope one day, they do their 1:72 BERLIN DEFENDERS in 1:32.
SCULPT WELL and CHOOSE YOUR SUBJECTS WISELY.

That's one thing that really chafes my chaps that the 1/72 Companies put out some great subjects and they won't scale them up to 1/32,54MM !!

Every toy soldier ever made in 1:72, will eventually be yours in 1:32, once they master the 3-D printer.
So keep your chaps on, it'll all come to pass by 2020.
Just imagine Caesar's, Green Devils in 1:32!!!

Re: COMING SOON : NEW, 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS
They hope to have the new 1:32 GERM PARATROOPERS at the end of June, cast in a blue grey color.
Unlike the awesome Soviet Navel Troops, these figures will be cast in one solid piece like an old 1:32 Airfix.
I love these new sculpts! I can't wait, it brings back the old days of AIRFIX!
10 figures per. box, in 10 poses $15.
Many people didn't like their SOVIET NAVEL TROOPS, because they used the WRONG GLUE to affix the arms like I did and of course they fell apart.
BUT once I found out about the proper glue to put them back together, I fell in love with them.
The proper glue for the Soviet Navel Troops, is the thick super glue that you can but at any hobby store.
"BSI MAXI-CURE" It will glue almost any toy soldier.

Here Alex. For those who want to take a closer look at the photo of the Fallschirmjagers suggest other forum.
http://translate.google.ru/translate?hl ... 6bih%3D632
And yet I think the scale of 72 doesn't make 32 scale. 3-d printer will not help. Quality will be bad. From 32 to 72 scale will be easy.

awesome!!!!! i can't wait. i noticed none of them have smocks on their helmets that kinda sucks because theres no 1/32,54mm german para helmet available with a smock on it. i would have recast and swapped them around if there was. a fg42 in 1/32 im excited about that.

I would have to agree with you.
If "The PLASTIC GENERAL" was to release a 1:32 set of German Paratroopers,
2/3 would have helmet covers and 1/3 would have netting with foliage.
All their jump smocks would be OPENED like short trench coats and I would title the set: GERMAN PARATROOPERS: Monti Casino

Pretty much any WWII metal figure is actually 1:30 scale.
I talked to the guys at Pegasus Hobbies and am trying to convince them to sell me a test sprue of the 10 paratrooper figures. If they do, I'll post some amazing photographs!

Re: COMING SOON : NEW, 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS
Test shots are DONE, now their just waiting for them to come from China.
The ONE important thing most people who outsource to China forgot to consider, is that the MOMENTUM and timing of your project is very important.
If there was a successful movie featuring German Paratroopers you wanna have those figures made within a year to capitalize on the hyped interest.
I'm just glad knowing that they are made and coming.

hey plastic general if you have contact with them you should encourage them to become a member of this forum. it may help with advertisement and we can give them ideas of subjects they can make then they can see how much interest is in a subject.

I agree, they should be a member of SSMH.
If I had my own toy line, I would belong to every forum in our hobby that I could find.
I would also have the most exciting promo web site in the hobby, flash ect.
PEGASUS rarely even updates their site, tragic.
I'll send him another E-mail with this link.

In this day and age where most people do so much online, it seems almost ass-backwards not to have a presence on the web.plasticgeneral wrote:I agree, they should be a member of SSMH.

Re: COMING SOON : NEW, 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPERS
AGREED!!
But then they have the audacity to blame their failures on the collectors market, stating that there are just not enough collectors.
*NO PROMO WEB-SITE
*NO SNEAK PREVIEWS
*NO YOUTUBE TEASERS
*NO E-MAIL PROMOS
There is not ONE, 1:32 WWII company that I know of,
that I admire their approach to the toy soldier business.
None of them! They ALL drop the ball.
No brains, no balls and NO VISION.
Sorry, I'm opinionated, but I know without a doubt if any one of these guys:
"PEGASUS HOBBIES", "TOY SOLDIERS of SAN DIEGO" or "CONTI COLLECTABLES"
put me in charge of their toy lines, I could turn around their non existent marketing and break sales records in a matter of a year WITHOUT SPENDING MONEY!
So many great promo ideas that they have never even thought of.
How sad for our passionate hobby.

i admire 21c back in the day. even tho they messed up on somethings you can tell they were actually passionate about what they were doing. they had their own web site and tried to keep it up. i believe if 21c hadn't get the ball rolling in 1/32 with their low priced kits that forces of valor would have fallen flat on its face. 21c started this 1/32 fever in me.
conte has its own website tho and its really nice. its just they have alot more interest then just ww2. i was always hoping to see some german paras from them also some russains.

i plan on just using this website as my advertisement for my kits. if i had a nice website with cool pics i would probably get more orders then i can fill. then people will just get pissed off. i don't really know how to do all the tax stuff anyway so i figure i can remain small. i don't have 50 people i need to employ anyway so i don't need to sell a lot.

Just spoke to one of the guys at PEGASUS HOBBIES.
A second and batch of 1:32 GERMAN PARATROOPER test shots are being sent to them for final inspection.
He says that they will hit the market in about two months.
When he receives the test shots, they will be individually photographed and posted on this forum,
he also said, he will probably send me one complementary sample set. That would be nice!
