The weathering is nice and the British commander is excellent. The camo is excellent as well. I will try to improve my cameo skills and post better pics.

That's a fantastic commander figure. I could use a couple like that

I actually recall seeing this tank at TRU back in the day (at least I think it was there). I certainly remember the unique cammo pattern.

You got me so excited when you said "UK Sherman".
That usually implies that it is a ROUND HULL Sherman, THAT, would have been so amazing!
BUT, this IS a FANTASTIC paint scheme!

There was an FOV British Sherman. This camo scheme does look familiar. Could this be a 'redo'?

This particular version is the British/Commenwealth tank. The name plate says Royal Scots Greys Italy 1943.

Good to see a British Sherman. 8)

Is this a brand new release? Don't recall seeing this version before, or any British Sherman for that matter.

If I'm correct, this is the only non-US sherman tank released by FOV.

Snake, its not a brand new release. This came out around the 2006 timeframe, if I recall. You can tell its not a new FOV release because there is decent weathering evident on the bogie wheels and hull - and when was the last time FOV weathered anything? :P

I think Heer just got a good deal

Yeah, I feel that this is probably my favorite allied tank. I have 99% german stuff and the only 2 allied tanks I have is the KV-1 and this UK sherman.

Personally I would give the UK sherman a hearty endorsement. The casting is good, paint job is excellent, weathering is just right (not too heavy or too light), British tank commander looks good, and a load of diorama stuff.

IMHO, this piece is the best sherman repaint to date!!! :D :D :D

Well to day the truth, British tanks aren't my favorite, but this particular tank is a mix of a US tank and UK camo and soldier. One of the more interesting piece in my collection!! :D

I would highly recommend this piece!!! :D :D

It had the release #81407 on the box I believe. It was called the "Italy 1943" version.
