Question about 1/18 Tiger I's

Is there anyone who can tell me what differences there are between the Bravo Team Tiger and JSI's Tiger that explains the price difference? My assumption is the JSI model has more operable features and likely better detailing, but is there any more to it than that?

The detail on the 21st/JSI is finer, it has more individual pieces, plus it has the interior feature.

I think JSI is asking on the high side, all factors (1:16 r/c, availability of older 21st Tigers) considered.

when it comes to features the FoV one is a turd, but at least it has zimmerit. the driver hatches don't even open on the FoV tank. 21stC has full interior and even engine detail

While this is true, in a way, the Unimax one is at least mostly correct for it's production type. And a good painting will hide a multitude of sins.

Thanks for the responses. As for the JSI/21C Tiger being less correct than the FOV, would it take all that much to make it correct aside from the zimmerit?

So is it safe to assume JSI didn't really do anything to correct 21C's errors, just tidied up the tooling a bit?

An interior would be nice, but I guess it isn't necessary. I certainly haven't been crying over the Panther's lack of one.

Is it worth the trouble of removing the molded on bits (on the FOV) and trying to fabricate loose ones, or is that something one should leave to the hardcore customizers (of which I hardly qualify)?

With the FOV Tiger, the only molded on part that bothers me is the shovel on the front. That could be cut off and replaced or using small modeling drills remove the excess material to make it more natural. There are some things on the 21st Tiger, especially the metal hulled one that can't be fixed. The incorrect front fender's and the front drivers plate that sticks up to high in front of the upper hull top. My father who has been modeling, scratch building and kit bashing for some 65 years starting trying to fix the 21st Tiger and eventual gave up on it.
