FOV at TRU

Post by flanker » Tue Nov 13, 2007 9:07 pm

I spotted a king Tiger, Stug 3 and Tiger at TRU. Don't ever recall seeing any tigers there before. Now if it was the T34 or Panther I would have scoffed them right up.

speaking of FOV at Target, today I saw the modern rocket launcher truck...it was an M-something or other--does an M412 sound familiar?? (sorry, I'm a WWII guy). Looked cool though.

I picked up the HEMMT (correct?) based MLRS launcher about a month ago. I was disappointed to find the wheels were not painted, just left black like the tires. Other than that it looks good.

My TRU is loaded with Stugs, Stuarts and those rocket launchers mentioned above. Wish they would get more of a variety. Even worse, theres some kind of anime crap slowly moving into the 21st and FOV section.

I think you're referring to the M142 HIMARS. I wasn't aware it was being released in the Action Series lineup.

Is this it?

That is the one Ziegler. I haven't seen the enthusiast version in person but with some of the recent releases (Stuart and Lee) and older modern armor (MLRS and LAV) it seems that the enthusiast weathering is pretty mild anyway. I think I will save $20 and give it a light dusting myself.
