21C website problems
21C website problems
Hey guys-
I just wanted to give everyone the latest update on the 21C website and AREA-21. As we already know the site has been experiencing several issues. Due to the age and more importantly the increase of fan traffic has overtaxed the existing server and it's bandwidth. I have been told that a new plan is now in place and that we should see the site up and running again early next week. It's a good thing too, because we have more news to cover including some new 1:48 scale aircraft, new 1:32 scale updates, detial product shots on the Me-262 nightfighter and much much more.
So everyone hang in there just a little while longer and 21C will be back in action!

Oh yeah! The final production sample of the Me-262 nightfighter is outstanding! For those who already own the single seat version, you kind of know what to expect in regards to the detial, construction, detialed gear and interiors and especially the heft of the weighted nose on the model.
The nightfighter embodies all those things and MORE in the production version. The dual canopy is really neat and the rear radio compartment keeps the same level of detial as the main cockpit. The fabric belts are also included in the rear section. The radar masts on the nose are very cool and keep an accurate shape. The paint on the plane is going to blow you guys away. It's by far the nicest camo jobs ever seen on any 1:18 plane. The detial and realism on the paint in my mind is impressive to say the least.
This is one that you REALLY need to have in the collection, in fact I think it may generate additional interest in the single seat version for those who have been holding off for now.
As soon as the site is back up I am posting the detial pictures on AREA-21, including a first look at the final box art. We should see these planes ready for sale very soon!

Maybe we can turn this in to a guessing game, as to guess the time and date when the website will be up and running. The time should be in PST
My guess 9:30 PST Monday 5, november 2007.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Well we are up and running again. Most of the upgrade is in the coding of the site and the bandwidth that we now have. So it's under the skin kind of stuff, but... it should be much more stable now with the load that 21C was getting!
Beyond that, we now have the new wallpaper for the Me-262 nightfighter, there is new information and pictures on this plane as well in AREA-21. There are other new updates that are going to be made-most of it will be coming in the form of news updates.
Sorry for the delay guys! The conversion was needed. thanks for haing in there with us!

good to be up again, felt something was bothering me all the time. Do not like being left in the dark, especially when there are nightfighters about.
