You know, I really didn't pay attention to this post until I came across A BUNCH of the McQuarrie Snowtroopers today when stopping by a local TRU! Very cool figure! They also had the new Han Solo in torture rack figure, Lando, and a rebel General McQuarrie (hmm, related to the artist?) in the store as well.
I have seen no sign of the pre-cyborg Gen. Grevious, Starkiller Hero, pre-cyborg General Grevious, and those other Sithlord figures. Given the numbers on ebay, they cannot be all that uncommon, so perhaps this is some sort of regional distribution thing...
Just like the new 21c and BBI pieces

Lol Finding Star Wars figures can get pretty frustrating, just like finding 21st and BBI as you noted. Its all a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I picked up General McQuarrie today, very cool figure and yes it's the artist himself. I also found the freaky looking protocol droid gone bad 4-LOM.tmanthegreat wrote:You know, I really didn't pay attention to this post until I came across A BUNCH of the McQuarrie Snowtroopers today when stopping by a local TRU! I saw Han in the Torture rack, it is a pretty cool setup but I passed. I only saw Pre-cyborg Grevious and Darth Reven and Darth Malak once. I can recommend the comic pack with Dark Woman and the dude with the Tusken Raider mask. The woman kinda sucks but the guy looks kick ass with the mask on, really looks like a Tusken with two light sabers.
The Snowtroopers were going for insane prices on ebay but I managed to snag one with the lowest price and shipping I've seen so it didn't hurt too bad. When I hit TRU at opening time on Sunday I'm sure there will be some on the pegs.
I saw a pic of Vader and his isolation chamber and it looks very cool. it lowers the helmet onto his nasty head and everything. Not sure when it comes out though.
