Looks like the Altaya has the better tuirret, the CDC the better chassis and tires. Also the CDC doesn't have the separation between the top and bottom hull pieces. The Altaya appears rounded off...

The CDC LAV has a crisper hull. No separation as mentioned, and a much better bow plane (the plate on the front of the hull that slides up for swim ops). The Altaya has a better representation of the front running gear (no mirrors mounted, you only see these if the LAV is driving on a public road). The Altaya LAV also has better looking tires and wheels. These much more closely resemble the real deal(although the hubs don't protrude far enough). While the Altaya LAV has a better main gun mantlet and barrel, it lacks the coaxial MG. It does have accurate smoke grenade launchers though. Overall, I agree that the Altaya LAV has a better turret. CDC has much better hull detail, especially the driver's vision blocks.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
