I have the two WWII planes from this series, which are like the Star Wars action fleet but with real vehicles. They are approximately 1/72 scale. The bombs can be dropped and the landing gear is retractable. Also comes with pilot figures and mechanic figures. Nice sturdy little toys. I also painted the yellow tips on the P-51 propellers to make it more accurate, but other than that, they have not been played with and were used for display only.
Will sell them for $30 bucks plus shipping, or best offer, and I'll split them up if you only need one....

I've got both the planes and while they're not perfect by our refined standards today, back in 1997, they were (and to me still are) awesome little pieces

The opening cockpits, retractable gear and bomb-drop feature (plus the mechanic & pilot figures) make these planes little beauties. Unlike some of the other aircraft in the Battlesquads series, the P-51 and FW-190 are to-scale with the figures. They are also closer to 1:64 scale and a bit larger than 1:72
They are getting harder to find...

Thanks for pointing out the better scale...I just kind of guessed at them since I don't really collect 1/72 anyways. I love how the integrated the bomb dropping mechanism on the radio mast for the mustang...

The Phantom and Apache are cool too...the tanks and figs are fun to play with as well. It was a nice line!
