F4U Corsair Question BBI

Post by MIGMADMAVIS » Fri Jun 08, 2007 1:17 pm

Hi there,

I had a question about the BBI corsair. It seems whenever I take out the tail landing gear, I put it down, and it goes right back in to the plane?? Anyone have any suggestions to how I can avoid this?

First time I did this it seemed like it would break, but if you pull the gear out far enough it should "lock" into place.
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

Yes pull on the tailwheel and it should lock in place.

The tail wheel should lock in place. It does so on my S1 BBI Corsair.
