Need some advice
About a month ago, I bought the 1/32nd 21C P-47D "Aileen" and I'm having problems with the wings fitting into the fuselage correctly. I tried to fix it before, but ended up dropping the damn thing and costing me one of the prop blades (easy fix with super glue). Got any tips on how to alieviate this problem?

The wings on the 32x P-47 will not be an exactly perfect fit... There will still be a gap left on the underside. I guess its something one has get used to with these toy/models. If you are having trouble simply fitting the wings into the slots, you may consider sanding down the sides of the "peg" on the wing or even the insides and edges of the slot in the fuselage. Sometimes paint gets applied in spots a little too heavily and thus makes it harder to fit the wings in.
Hope this helps and sorry about the broken prop

Hmm...Maybe I'll try that tommorow on the inside slot. If it dosen't work, then screw it. I'm not going to risk giving the plane permanent damage.

I have had a similar problem with my P-47s as the wings are an extemely tight fight.. I think on one, I actually held the fuselage in one hand and tapped the wing on the table to get it to seat right, but as Tman elaborated, it still left a small gap..Fox Tare-28 wrote:schizuki wrote:Those can be a bee-yotch.
