"Bob Hughes" aliases

Post by billgiff » Wed Mar 21, 2007 12:52 pm

As per Sgt. Taylor's request. He wants to know if our buddy "Bob Hughes" ever posted on the Warbirds or GP forums. Sgt. Taylor wants me to send him a list of any names or aliases that he used to "surf" the boards and scam the members. Any help is appreciated. Either post your responses or PM me.
Also, to any person that was scammed by "Bob", do you have any digital pictures of the items that you sent to him? Or did you ever send "Bob" any digital pictures to him through a email? Thanks, Bill

Audie Murphy and Delta Strike Force. That's two that I remember. I'll bet that Aferg can name a few more.

I can back up Tobin on this. He's in California and not anyway connected to the Bob Hughes guy.

Old scamming Bob used a paratrooper something call name too. Can't remember exactly the user name, but maybe someone else can.

Hey Cruizen ive just been waiting for any news to pop up about Bob

Momaw you thinking of Paratroopercarbine? I remember Bob was 1:18 Pathfinder, but the only name I remember with Paratrooper is paratroopercarbine.

And that was my mistake, sorry Tobin.

Catman,
That is it, 1:18 Pathfinder. That was the call sign he used when he contacted me. So scratch that paratrooper name. I don't want to get anyone else in trouble that has nothing to do with this. Thanks

Allright, scratch paratrooper.
1:18 Pathfinder was the first name he contacted me on, and then after I sent him on his way after the rediculous things he was saying to me, he started the emails.

According to Sgt. Taylor, 3 more people recently came forward in our case against "Bob". He is processing their information and we should be hearing some news soon.

I've put in my claim as has so many others with this.
Has anyone heard anything or actually spoken to Sgt Taylor as yet?
Just want to know how long this process actually takes and how many others are involved.

Be patient Austeyr. I was contacted by Sgt. Taylor a few times last week. He told me that the reasons why this case is taking so long is because, just recently, some other collectors have come forward and were sending proof that "Bob Hughes" or who ever scammed them. You have to remember that Sgt. Taylor is a "Special Case" investigator who also patrols. He has taken this case on when none of the full time investigators wanted to touch it. Sgt. Taylor wants to be very careful and make sure all the T's are crossed and the I's are dotted before all is done. We'll here some information soon. Keep the faith!!!!!! Bill

Oh I have all faith in Sgt Taylor. Just have never been involved in something as "scammy" as this before and being in another country makes it twice as hard. I hope we get our gear back and I have a good feeling we will. Glad to see I'm not on my own aswell.

Austeyr, there are many more than you know about. This goes back to the GP forum days. Sgt. Taylor is also going back that far. He's doing exactly what we wan't him to do. I also reminded him just last week about the threatening emails that "Bob" sent us. From finding where we lived, to paying us a visit, to contacting friends he has in our residence area. I put an end to "Bob's" threats quickly, I emailed him, told him that I was laughing at his words and also told him to think as me as "Grandma's Cake", "Come here and help yourself". Needless to say, he stopped the threats. Like I stated before, this guy is less of a man than all us here. He's spineless and a basement dwellar. His knees would buckle at a face to face meeting and then the yellow stripe on his back will show. He will get his and I hope that we all get our property back. I'm done venting!!!!! Bill

Ive been talking to Sgt. Taylor and forwarding him some of the emails that Bob sent me, and Bob is facing plenty of charges. Needless to say, something bad will definately happen to him.

Its really kind of bad for me because I didn't send him anything custom. It was a BBI Old Crow plus a pair of 21stC marines. Only distinguished characteristic was one of the marines was missing his forearm, but Bob might have fixed that one.
