Bastogne, Dec. 1944....

Post by ostketten » Sun Mar 18, 2007 2:27 pm

With nothing much better to do on a chilly March afternoon, and the snow from our most recent storm rapidly disappearing, I decided to take a few impromptu shots outside for a sort of "quick and dirty" Winter dio. We are going to use our imagination a little bit here and pretend this is a small American Infantry and armored unit of mixed pedigree preparing to defend against the German onslaught in the fields outside Bastogne in December 1944......

The color pics are great but the bw pics really give the scenes some great effects.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, it was really a lot of fun to set up and photograph. I'm glad you guys liked the black and white pics too, that's something I am going to have to use more often. 8)
