I had heard similar rumblings myself. I hope they make one. Then again, in light of recent circumstances, AT may just suprise us and not let us know until things are already out the door and on the boat.

Wow....never was aware of the Komet being talked about.....with it's (lack of)size, it probably would go for around $40.00. Dream on! I will echo what pickelhaube asks: any information welcomed.

Just in case a '163 shows up, I hope the badge will be:

That's the way it should be. Komet would be so cool, with removeable tail section with rocket engine detailed, retractable skid and of course the take off dolly as well.

Then we would need to have modeled the german tanker trucks with the fuel and hoses...

Remember that the fueling of the T-Stoff and C-Stoff was VERY dangerous, many groundcrewmen were lost-literally after being blown away/to pieces!

The three entries to follow are from Wikipedia articles...enjoy:

Probably the most dangerous duty in the Luftwaffe, on par with being the javelin catcher in the Olympics 8)

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Ouch, so true. That thing was more dangerous to the Luftwaffe pilots and ground crew than to the swarms of heavy bombers overhead.
