Interesting Find
Hi everyone, i found this in our attic, and all i know is that it was given to my grandfather as a trophy or something for the airforce, Anyone know the scale. Its an F-105 Thunderchief, and i took a picture of it next to a 1/32 Ultimate Soldier P-40 to show size comparison <a href="http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/22 ... desk top models
These are (or were) desk top "trophy" items that were usually given my an aircraft manufacturer to military officers and/ defense official. My father had two when he was in the military, both are now in my basement - one is an F16 and the other is an A10. They look larger than 1/48th, maybe close to 1/32. Both are solid, the canopies are painted on. They show up on eBay. I'd sell mine for the right price (not cheaply).
