Found S1 and S2 109G

Post by rmoore456 » Fri Jan 05, 2007 5:35 pm

Found the S1 and S2 109G's at the Ottawa, Illinois Walmart. S1 is Schilling's and S2 is Hackl's. Interesting thing is they were just putting out a fresh box and it was just the two planes in the box. All previous assortments came six to a box.

Well, they're getting around :D

I found two "Hackl" 109Gs in an assortment with two "Muthrich" and two "Schultz" 109Fs just before Christmas here in central California and was lucky to grab a "Hackl" since they went quickly. A week or so after Christmas, in the same store, I found four "Schilling" 109Gs with three "Schultz" 109Fs. I'm kind of confused with what comes in an assortment. Thus far, at varying points in late December and early January, I've found examples of all the 32x 109s save for the S1 ME-109F (in the tan & green splinter cammo) pictured on the box.

With the two 109Fs and three 109Gs I've purchased, which counting the two 32x ME-109Es I already had, makes this the most numerous aircraft type in my 32x collection. I guess that is not surprising as the 109s have such great paintschemes and you can get 3 for the price of a 1:18 ME-109
