Red 8 109?

Would the Red 8 109 have a swastika on the tail? The obvious would be yes they all did. I haven't been able to locate a profile and the only reference so far is a decal sheet. The profile shown with the decal sheet is so small I can't tell and it claims there is enough to do 4 planes but only 3 swastikas are included.

I have never actually seen a profile of this plane, but here is a built model which really is a good representation of what it probably looked like..

Excellent question regarding the Red 8 Bf-109 above, and the link in the immediate post is really great.....have never seen this before. Thanks guys for adding cool information. (sure glad I never claimed to know it all, whew)

I got my "Red 8" 109G today and I have to say it is excellent.. Much better than I expected, although it did require some modification to clean things up a little.. :wink:
