That's the origional "Dogfight" episdoe that the History Channel has been showing for months. I really like the show and usually have to go play my Combat FS game afterwards to get my dogfight fix. It looks like they will now have the show as part of a series, and I plan to watch their entire "Fighting Friday" lineup, since there's no better way to relax after a long week :D

yeah, there is going to be a weekly series on the History Channel called "Dog Fight" every Friday night. Tonight will be 'Mig Alley' show going over air conbat during the Korean War. They will compare aircraft, performance and tactics all on CGI reactment. This should be a great series!

I taped the Old Crow segment and in my veiw it was very good with very nice computer animation. I look forward to Friday nights now watching "Dogfights" and as warhawker said, this should be a great series.

FYI. My TV guide says Friday, Nov 10th will be the next episode titled "Air Ambush". Following Vietnam War clashes between Russian MIG-21's and the U.S. F-4 Phantoms during 1967's Operation Bolo, masterminded by Col. Robin Olds.

I watched it last night also for the 4th time. Wasnt anything else on TV so I watched the rerun. I liked the dog fight with Old crow p51 and the bf109. Liked the tactics he used. Wonder why the pilot in the 109 didnt bail out, unless he was mortaly wounded.

That Episode is pretty sick and in fact I'm watching the Old Crow segment right now that I transferred to DVD last night. Given that I haven't followed much on WWII, it gave me a new appreciation for the Old Crow sitting on the store shelves now that I can put a 'context' to it. Tonight premiere showing should be lotsa fun. By the way, how ironic that Duke Cunningham is in Federal PMITA Prison as I watch the Showtime 100 Segment.

MiG29K,

First buddy I like your avitar! I'm gonna miss Schumacher in F1 thats for sure. Now onto what I was gonna say. The old Crow that was featured in that sequence was Buds B model Mustang and it was painted up in the colors he favored very much. So in essence BBI did get it right with what they came out with which is cool. But the dog fight sequence was the best digital version I have seen so far between WW 2 fighter planes. I cant wait to see more.

I just got through watching the Mig Alley episode. It was really good, and shows why the F-86 has been my favorite fighter plane for some time now. :D
