I had bought and unpainted AT F-86, but it had been confiscated by the wife for Christmas. Now, because I bought something she wanted/needed now, I've been given the F-86 early (we're terrible keeping presents tucked away).
Well, I put it together last night and had left it on my nightstand. 6:50 this morning I get a phone call from my 4-year-old "Hey Dad, can I have this plane in my room?" So, as of right now, my Sabre is in its new home above my daughter's bed. This goes right up there with a ABC book we just bought the kids about airplanes. After that, she confiscated my GI Joe "warthog" to have in her room (that one isn't a big loss). One on hand, I keep losing planes. On the other......I just beats having to find space in my junk room for all my aircraft!

You have a special daughter. Mine wouldn't touch my planes with a 10 foot barbie doll.....

My Daughter loves my planes, tanks and army men. But she really loves my 1/6th 21stC stewart and tank commander. But then again she is only 3 and it wont last long.

To luftpanzer:
My daughter snagged my Hoghead Huey 4 years ago, and still won't give it back.

I had to buy a 2nd one.

All of my jets are hanging in her room. She was "3" then.

My daughter twisted my arm when she was about four years old. She had to have the green GI-Joe helecopter. She stuffed her little loving family mom in it and fired missles at it. Mommy's friends were horrified. Chock one up for dad!
