Pretty cool. You definately have something different that I haven't seen on the board before. Could you do a Viet Nam version with Playboy Bunnies.

[holds hand up to forehead and looks over the crowd] Looks like a few boys from our Pacific theater have went AWOL to see my show. Wait a minute, is that a German Paratrooper that just dropped in to see this thing? WOW! Better get Rita Hayworth warmed up quick!"

The first pictue is from 1960, that looks closer to what the figure looks like. I just don't have that many VN figs.

ha that's great....i had the same idea but couldn't find a suitable figure. Who made the Bob Hope figure? I found a Marilyn Monroe but she was too big. I do have a bunch of Elvis Presleys but i dont think he did any USO work? He was in the war, was he not?
If you want some playboy bunnies there are several figures of that type made for 1/18 scale cars. Flinstone makes some and there are others too. Just search for '1/18 figure' and you'll probably find a bunch on ebay.
Yes, Bob needs to be doing a VN USO show.....wait til the Platoon figures come out.
Very fun.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I passed up a different BoB Hope a couple months ago. It was one in civilian clothes. This one is titled "Laughs Ahoy!". It has the name "Operation Santa" on it. Also American Greetings. The box says it's from 1999. I went to operationsanta.com and couldn't find it. They only went back to 2000. Original price on it is $16. I got it for $3. If I see another one, I'll pick it up.
