WARNING! Conartist misrepresenting himself as SMALLJOES.COM
Hey folks,
It has been brought to my attention that an individual who visits this board is misrepresenting himself as a SMALLJOES.COM employee and sending email (from one or more free email accounts).
So, I guess it goes without saying that if members of this board receive *any* correspondence purporting to be from SMALLJOES.COM, but coming from an email address other than @smalljoes.com, it's fake and you should ignore and delete it - or better yet, report it to us.
And now a warning to the person engaging in this behavior: if you persist in this, the police and an attorney from your hometown will be paying you a visit. Consider yourself warned.
UPDATE: admins, pardon me if this belongs in the bad trader area and move it as necessary.
It's likely that the person doing this is the same person that there was a rip-off complaint about recently under the name "Audie Murphy" and maybe some other names?
Anyway, some digging in my database suggests some evidence that this person may have the real last name of "Saylor" and is operating out of Richmond, IN.

Duno if my memory serves me correctly, but that sounds a lot like the same person that was scamming everyone last year or so. (Same username and all...again if memory serves me correctly)coreystinson wrote:Hey folks,

I would guess this is bad news for any of the "new guys" on the board. We shouldn't trade with anyone we do not know or who hasn't been acound on our board for awhile.
Lots of people out there that want to make your hard earned money...theirs.
Anyway, just be careful out there.

Sometimes I am the windshield, sometimes, I am the bug.
What is going on with the "fake" people on the board?
It must be the heat!
I sure the vermin will be smoked out soon enough. I was not on GP nor around for the "A Murphy" scandal, but it sounds pretty bad. With that said are you guys think AM has found his way into our community once again?
With all this BS aside I feel that Aferguson and other board members are doing a great job of bird doggin on the Board.
Corey- Thanks for the heads-up. By the way I love the SS set, thanks for them also!

It is a good idea, but this site takes pride on being free and open to all collectors. The only problem with that is we get all the internet junk.
