Although the XD M113 is the A3 type, it looks as though 21st got the overall idea down with their interior - save for that seat in the center (though there is some sort of peg that may have been for one... I like the tan XD M113 more each time I look at it. I love the fact that it has a full interior that is more or less accurate to the real thing, and that you can close up figures inside it (something that couldn't be completely done with the M2 Bradley, due to the toy's turret design). The engine compartment is also a plus, and while I thought the engine seemed small, a picture I found of an M113 on the web showed that it had a relatively small engine and all the empty space in the XD engine compartment should be filled with a couple of radiators.

Pardon my rant, but this XD vehicle (not the figures) is actually a rather well done piece of armor!

That's not a rant, it's true. It may be fragile but it is still amazing in many respects. It blows away the bbi modern armor to the point where I keep my M2 & M113 away from my LAV & M1 so the latter doesn't detract from the former.
