This is actually an old story(1998) and I apologize if it has been covered before, but it was new to me when I came across it last week.

i`m surprised Bovington hasn`t tried to get it shipped over to them to restore & display. Though keeping it as the "The Tank at Flesquières " is rather fitting as it looks like BOTH sides used it.
I must admit it`s truely amazing finding a tank buried & in such decent condition. Just like last year when they found the British Army Officer FULLY preserved,I believe at the Somme though could be wrong.

I didn't hear about that! The mud must have some preserving qualities. Any links?....steelbonnet wrote:i`m surprised Bovington hasn`t tried to get it shipped over to them to restore & display. Though keeping it as the "The Tank at Flesquières " is rather fitting as it looks like BOTH sides used it.
