Has FOV abandoned 1/72 line of armor?

Post by Philip » Sat Apr 29, 2006 7:54 pm

I have seen on another forum a list of proposed FOV 1/72 armor. However, nothing is on the FOV website concerning anything about future armor releases in 1/72. I am wondering if FOV is dedicated to the 1/72 scale? If they are, they are doing a very poor job of promoting it. Here we are almost 6 months into 2006, and I've heard nothing about their so called 2006 armor, 1/72, except from a forum member. What do you guys hear? Does anyone know how well their 1/72 line did, sales wise? Lightning2000, what is your take? Just wondering

Hi Philip,
Six or seven new vehicles are expected around June. I think this topic has been covered previously in another post.

I realize that we have previously discussed this, and I have heard that the 1/72 stuff is coming in June. However, I have yet to see the first picture of anything. That seems odd. If your armor will be available in June, shouldn't you have some pictures posted somewhere? Build some expectations?

By my calendar we're not quite 4 months into the year..

Anyway, i wouldn't worry about what is shown on FOV's or any company's website; most are notoriously out of date. 21c hasn't got pictures of some things they've been selling for almost a year now. Seems to be a low priority with a lot of makers..

I went to The Motor Pool and saw the pictures. I have always liked the
1/72 FOV line, and am glad they are continuing it. My concern was that at FOV's website, nothing was mentioned at all, so, I am pleased, and the upcoming releases look pretty nice.
