Bought 2 109s

Post by Fitzystigertank » Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:14 pm

A walmart near me had 2 new 109 in the store. One is the "Hackl" and the other is the "Sahl". The one thing 21st did was use the pilots of the 190s. The store also had a starfighter and bubble top P 47's and a few night 109's. The next 109 will be the "Seeman" then i hope we get the Avengers out here.

Good planes there Fitzystigertank. I have both of those, plus the Graf version.

After a lifetime of lovin' the "F" model 109, these 21st Century offerings gave me a brand new appreciation of the great lines of the "G' version. I must admit that I never thought it would happen.

I'm waiting for a desert camo 109-G now.

I want to get the Seeman version too. For E versions I have the Galland, winter and night fighter one. I think the G is a much improvement then the E version. I like the fact that the wheels lock now. I just can't beleive they used the FW 190 pilots. Its really funny that the galland one is a normal 109 pilot but with a mustache painted on.

Hey, the Galland ME-109E could be said to be 21c's first in its "Legends" series of aircraft that will feature figures with the likness of the actual pilot. The XD Galland does bear a resemblance to the actual person!
