I've definitely got my eye on that one since the chances of landing a Snake Stuka are less than remote. This new scheme will fit right in with my North African Tiger, Panzer IV and Hanomag. Now all we need is a nice desert scheme 109G. :D

This is why it's hard to knock the WM distribution - you want the new Stuka? You want it a month before the small retailers and at a lesser price? Here:

This guy can still make his money and you can get your bird and everybody is happy all thanks to WallyWorld.
Why would anyone pre-order this bird at this point? It just doesn't make sense.

Wow! Where did that come from? I did at least 3 1/18 XD stuka searches today and this is the first I'm seeing it. Thanks for the heads up! :D

I first found one back in January at Wal Mart in sort of a freak sighting 8) I've had one gathering dust on my display table for months before the rest of you found them!

Its an awesome looking plane, however, and 21c really pulled off the cammo scheme quite well!

are these on the shelves even with the new seemans and german 104's collecting dust? Every WM around me stocked up on these usually four of each...

And half of them are sitting up on the high shelf with the plastic display window busted or ripped open - argh

Out West, we didin't get the German 104's, but we did get the USAF ones and the Stukas and Corsairs are sitting right alongside them. :D

Most of the Walmarts around here have already had the Desert Stuka and sold out of them.. There are a few to be had, but that's about it..

The desert cammo Stukas and BH Corsairs sold out in my area pretty quickly as well - especially when they first appeared in late January. So too have the Silver F-104s and the Hackl and Sahl ME-109s and S.C. P-40s. The S1 Graff ME-109s are still sitting there, along with the RC Armor and a scattering of soft and hard top desert hummers, as well as the OMG and Japanese figures.

I would be willing to swap a F-104 (Silver or German) for a Stuka Desert...
Anyone??

besides the obvious paint job are there any other differences in the new stuka and older versions?

Got my shipping notification yesterday - yippee!!!

Now which allied plane should I pair it up with to hang from the ceiling (in terms of paint schemes and theaters)? I already have my RAF P-40 paired up with my desert camo 109 - suggestions anyone?

Well, you could do a trio - the RAF P-40, desert ME-109, and tropical Stuka. I displayed my tropical Stuka with my RAF P-40, and they went well together!

Yeah I might try that - I could put my Pearl Harbor Zero and P-40 in the spot where the desert planes are now, and do the 3 desert planes in a new spot when the Stuka arrives.

Any others?

You could do the North Africa Razorback idea I posted in the Custom forum. I'm seriously considering doing this especially since I can get the Eagleston Razorback for $32 plus shipping.
