Post by steelbonnet » Thu Mar 23, 2006 10:48 am

Hi All,

Well I`m pretty close to having these 2 finished & a group of 6 British Para`s too.

So thought I`d share my Infantry for input so far :D

I`ve yet to add insignia, awards, rank & of course webbing too (all sculpted & ready to go,once I sort out webb straps). Also need to add puttees & paint the boots black.

So overall what do you guys think?

LMK as always opinions are valued :D

Thank`s Aferg :D

The helmet is sculpted onto a Chap mei head (that face just screams British to me :D ).

Ingrediants:-

Officer NCO

Heads Action Force Chap Mei sculpted helmet
Torso`s Blackhole figure Joe JvC Dusty
Arms Sanded down PTE Sanded down PTE
Hands XD XD
Waists GI Joe GI Joe
Legs Joe Duke v1 Joe Duke v1

Leg pouches were sculpted onto the left thigh. Pouches onto the Blackhole torso were als sculpted on. As said already helmet is sculpted.
Using actual cloth for puttees & webb straps with sculpted pouches.

Weapons will be at the moment a browning Hi Power & a Sten gun (Action force).

Hope that helps :D

Again thank`s Aferg :D

As for the Japanese light MG converted into a Bren, that`s a Great idea alas I don`t have any of the Japanese figures :( Though if I can get a few of that LMG I will most certainly convert them into Brens :D

Thank`s RED though I`d like to think I`m straight as an arrow mate on spotting talent & You along with several others are Superb :D

It`s hard to judge your own stuff (it is in my case) so I never rate myself as good or better. As long as I am happy that`s all that matters :D

As for how good I`d rather leave that to fellow customiziers & collectors rather than rate myself.

Though I do thank you all for the kind words :D

Oh I`ve got 3 of the Japanese LMGs coming to me so watch out in the future for Bren guns :D

Oh & the WWII British Para`s will be done soon too :D
