We have not had a good poll in a while, and it seems with the companies overlapping their releases that there are some planes left that clearly take a back seat to others in someone's mind, perhaps not ours. There are no twin engine planes in the poll for a reason - I think the 110 & Mossie would clean up the poll. Also, I'm trying to imagine similar price points across the board [OK, maybe some would cost a bit more than others

]. Let the fun begin.

well, in the abscence of the obvious 'all of the above' button i chose the Macchi. Not only cause i really want a Macchi but also because i figure the Typhoon is a shoe in, someday....as are i think most of the other choices on the list, except for the Yak. Russian stuff gets sadly neglected. Shame.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Well, I want to encourage the Typhoon. Yeah, I feel you on the Macchi, Aferg. I would really like one. But, I have greater love for the Typhoon.

I would really like an F4f Wildcat. My second choice would be a Hellcat. I like both of those planes quite a bit.

I voted Typhoon, as I want a hurricane also, but you gotta love the Typhoon coming over rooftop level with the cannon blazing the trains.
I rather see something else than another Navy plane we have Corsair, coming soon Avenger, the Hellcat is too similiar. IMO
A Japanese Val would be cool. but being the molds are made in China which HATES the Japanese, I'm really surprised to see any Japanese planes or figures at all.
A Russian Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik as we are going off the deep end...

Hellcat.
It had the highest kill ratio of any allied WWII fighter, helped turn the tide in the air war against the Japanese in the Pacific, and was a mainstay USN fighter from 1943 onward.
If I could have submitted two votes, I'd have put down the Macchi C.202. I like that plane all the more after getting the 32x version!

Welcome aboard! You've picked a good time to join, this year is promising some great releases in 1:18, despite all the speculating and wishing we are doing here

If you want a little rocket ship that is your call. I am surprised there are not any Anton fans. Periodically people clamor for it but I see it has not gotten a vote. Even the P-39 which has it's own thread got only one vote.

The Komet is cool and I really wonder why it hasn't been discussed by any of the big companies. It does have the odd/cool/appealing factor going for it. If the put rocket plane on the the box I am sure it would attract many of the Walmart bumpkins attention.

21c and Estes Model Rocket Company could even join forces and make a 1:18 scale version of the Komet that one could stick a large Estes rocket engine in the rear for some real flying action

Okay, so how do you rig the 'chute then? Cause I'm not paying $30+ for a one use item.

RC you say? If so, I'll wait for the S-10 version if the Panzer IVs and Abrams are any indication. lol

I voted for the Yak or IL2. We might even get female pilots with those.

(Just a thought.) We need some WWII Russians.
