Imo it is worth at least $100 dollars, and who knows what it might fetch on ebay. After seeing what some "customs" have been selling for on ebay I would not underestimate what you have there.

Great work by the way.

I would agree with Digger.
You have a really unique piece to offer.

There is not a category for just Ultimate soldier or 21st Century toys on ebay, it would be nice if Ebay changed that. I sell a lot of 1/18 Ultimate Soldier stuff and list under 3 ¾ GI Joe most of the time. What is going to be important for you is the title of your listing. I would defiantly have 1/18 Ultimate Soldier in the title so people that would be willing to pay $mullah$ for your item would see it. There are toy and model category that you could list under, but I am not sure which would be best, other then the GI Joe one. Sorry could not be more help. I do have a question for you. What kit is that wagon from or did you hand make it all yourself? Also where did you get the horses that are in some of the pictures form?

Again thanx for all your help!!

The wagens alr all hand built, with real wood, piece by piece just like you were building the real thing. I did that to get a more realistic look.
brake system was from old model car parts. wheels are soild wood. the top is cloth and soaked in glue., trailer hitch is a jewelry clasp. chain are real and weathered. Paint is mustard yellow with cammo sploches.

So it was not a kit, I wish it would have been, but it was alot of fun making it and trying to find stuff that would work.

Od1, keep in mind when the listing starts/when it ends. If it ends too early in the morning the west coast will be shut out. Also post the link HERE :D

What about listing it as:- 1/18th XD,BBI,GI JOE CUSTOM German Wagon WWII

Do that you should be picked up on several searches then :D
I`d either put it in TOY SOLDIER or Action figure sections.

As for the wagon. WOW mate that`s a very sweet looking custom :D

I think a lot of guys would like to have that in there collection,as well as the halftrack as we`ve already seen...LOL ;) :D

Post by od1each » Sat Feb 18, 2006 12:57 pm

That's a good question.........I got the horses at a local hobbie store for a x-mas present a few years back........I've gone back there nad he has more horses..but too small to even get close to scale in 18th.

Again I'd like to thank you guys for all your help, I'll be putting the German 1/2 track recovery
up for sale soon (probably in a week or so) and some other custom made stuff.

If any of you guys remember this wagon won 3rd place on Ground Pounders board a few years back!

I really want it to have a good home, was looking at it yesterday......
Well........hard to say good bye to an old friend.
