1:18 figure line up
I know alot of members on this forum collect the 1:18 armor and aircraft. I wish I had room to get more than a couple of these pieces. But I figured with all the posts and excitement regarding aircraft and armor in the works for 1:18, does anyone care about the 1:18 figures? Anyone know if either company has any new figures in the works? I know BBI just released their new WW II figures, but has anyone heard rumors or have speculation on the next installment of figures from 21st Century? Hopefully some British, Soviet, Italian, or French soldiers maybe? The repaints are a great way for me to get figures released before I got into this hobby, but I would really love to see some new figures or maybe the old style figures redone with the new articulation. Any thoughts or theories?

Figures are us
I think the next batch of figures from 21st will be the Platoon line. I would not hold my breath for Brits or soviet, its been at least 3 years since 21st showed a prototype of a US Modern Army figure, if anyone has the old link to the 21st catalog which showed the trooper, please post. He was a basic ground-pounder with M16 a1 and Kevlar helmet.

I was initially an aircraft/vehicle fan, and had to get alot of my S1 & S2 21c figures on ebay, however, with the recent releases of the BoB, Marines & Japanese troops at Wal Mart & the small retailers - as well as all the BBI Modern & WWII soldiers - my army has greatly expanded. The figures are a necessary part of the 1:18 lineup and we will continue to see them, even if spaced at odd intervals.
