1/32 JU-88 and HE-111 Kits at Hobbytown
Got to see the big 1/32 Pro Modeler kits of the Ju-88 and HE-111 at Hobbytown today. The JU-88 has a 22 1/2" span and the HE-111 has a 31" span. $49.99 and $79.99 for retails. The JU-88 dimensions seemed small but it's really not all that much bigger than an ME-110. The Heinkel would be impressive

They ARE impressive and FUN to play with! I own all 3 of the aircraft that you have mentioned above and I will say that the JU-88 is 4 inches wider than the BF-110 and much thicker and the HE-111 dwarfs the JU-88! I say, go for these kits if you can afford them. Then pull out your 7 ft. folding table and set up your Luftwaffa airfield, compleat with custom ground crews! Watch, the next few years will be dominated by the BIG BOYS so start building your air forces now!

yes the ju88 was a surprsingly small aircraft. Looks bigger than it actually was. The A-1 is especially small with the 6 foot+ shorter wingspan.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
