Allgo 1/32 A/C on sale at Badcat

Post by 456THBG » Fri Feb 10, 2012 4:30 pm

Really interesting...Badcat has the 1/32 Allgo P51 & FW190 on sale for $19.99!
Thatr's only $5.00 more than Walmart sold them for back in the day...Badcat says (obviously) that they didn't sell very well.

Sorry, I don't have a business degree or nothin, but ya would of thought that offering us a reissue of schemes we already have at twice the price or more would have raised a red flag with any profit oriented company-

I would have welcomed a repaint rather than a straight reissue

I think almost everyone would have preferred that.

Probably found a huge, old shipment, lost until now, in a Customs warehouse storage .
It saddens me, I feel like ALLGO is dropping the ball. Think of how awesome it would be, if he could get the ball rolling again! All those great projects that 21st cent. was going to produce.

IF, I was RICH, I would offer to be his BUSINESS PARTNER!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The Flying Mule has the same deal going on..
I went ahead and bought a couple of these at full price when they first came out because if we don't support the manufacturer, we shouldn't expect to see anything new.

These were a new re-issue because the planes didn't come with pilots. The first ones did..

I've been tempted by these sales, but haven't given in yet... Really, $20 for a reissue aircraft with no pilot is a better price than $40, IMHO
