Cleaned up at Toy Soldier Show

Post by ketelone » Mon Sep 26, 2011 4:24 pm

This past Sunday was the Toy Soldier Show at the Hyatt. I visited the hotel starting Wednesday and meeting directly with various venders in their rooms through the date of the actual show. I made some great acquisitions. I think as a result of less and less 1/32 armor being made anymore and everything being 1/30, I was able to purchase two Britains' Hanomags for around $30 a piece and two Panzers for a total of $45. I also picked up Frontline Tanks for $25 a piece: British Sherman, Cromwell, Churchill and a Firefly. I also picked up up two FOV T34s for about $25 a piece. I also bought the new FOV Dodge truck and a smattering of other items. I felt like a kid in the toy department at Sears or Marshall Fields at Christmas time. The best part is now I could do more than look.

Next year really make an effort. It's a great show. You can talk to many of the online vendors and get some great deals.
