1/18th stryker?
has anyone converted the LAV to a stryker? I tried but could not get the RPG cage to look right, I tried plastic posts and wire rails but it never looked right. Has anyone in the custom business tried to make the cage???

Re: 1/18th stryker?
Our good friend Jack Plonka from Skyworks Toys made a one-of-a-kind 1:18 Stryker that was done properly. While the LAV and Stryker share a lot of similarities, the two vehicles really can't be accurately converted into one another...

Re: 1/18th stryker?
yes, they do look alot alike but are based on very different vehicles. For one thing the stryker is about 20% larger.
Bravo Team was supposed to have made one in 1/18 but cancelled it and came out with a crappy LAV instead. They made a poor copy of an already existing 1/18 vehicle instead of making something brand new and popular.
Sometimes i just don't understand these toy company execs....they are clued OUT.
