New 1/32 Chaffee Scheme

Post by rmoore456 » Fri Aug 26, 2005 5:24 pm

Found the 21C Cold Steel Chaffe in a new paint scheme at Walmart today. Overall OD with a sand and redbrown band around the hull and the base of the turret. On the side of the turret is a "3" in a triangle in white.

Saw one in Fresno yesterday as well. Its an interesting scheme, but I'm not that fond of it. I wonder if its accurate - it would seem approporiate for some sort of drier climate, such as the Middle East, where many Chaffees saw extensive post-war usage.

I saw a couple of these yesterday at Wally's.

WTF?!?!?! It's an ugly color scheme!! My wife even thought the same thing!! Besides, I have 5 already and that's enough to field a platoon for gaming purposes.

Why didn't they make a winter scheme? That would've been nice.

Hey 21st, try again!!!
