British soldier late 1800's ?

Post by aferguson » Mon Feb 21, 2011 10:57 am

Years ago, there was a line of 3 3/4 inch movie figures that came out and one of the figures was a british soldier or officer dressed in late 1800's uniform. Redcoat, white helmet (see pic below).

It was discussed on here but that was a long tine ago. Does anyone remember what movie line of toys it was from?

This is not the figure but the figure looked pretty much like this, only with white helmet.

you know, i had a feeling it was chitty chitty bang bang but i couldnt see how the figure would be related. It wasn't as i remembered it but it is indeed the grandpa figure. Not really what i was hoping for though...looks different than i thought it would. Not the right era. Oh well.

Good memory. :)

Does he have the creepy look on his face like the guy in that pic you used as a reference Aferg? Because that guy looks like he's up to no good with his too-small-hat on.
