Forces of Valor 1/16 King Tiger Fenders?

Post by YT » Thu Jan 06, 2011 5:19 pm

Does anybody have any good ideas for keeping these on the tank other than gluing them? I would like to be able to remove them if I ever need to pack it up again. I was thinking white glue if worst came to worst, should be easy enough to pop off. I can't believe the poor design on these fenders!

What about getting a clear piece of styrene and Scotch taping it to the bottm for support ?

No glue and the tape and styrene would be almost invisible unless you flip the beasty upside down.

What worked for me was a VERY small touch of CA with a tip of a toothpick on each skirt clip and when that was dry, a touch on the skirt tab that touches the next skirt…not so solid a bond that the plastic would break if you wanted to remove them. Now I can move the KT around without the things falling off at the slightest touch.
