Gun Shields for the M-16 Quad Half Track ?

I was looking through a book called Armor in Korea by Jim Mesko

Fo another project.

In it they had a bunch of pics with M-16 half tracks with gun shields on them.

It looks like they used the M-16s a lot in Korea.

The shields are a simple affair not unlike the shields that the Germans used on thier flaks guns.

Just fishing but is their any interest in this mod ?

Aprx price $15-$20.

The armor shields were called "Bat Wing Armor".
